Safe House (Alone in Chris' Room)

Movie was pretty good. Had a lot of action and was well acted. Character development was very minimal though, and I didn't feel too attached to anyone in the movie. Things happened really fast, and action was the main point.

7/10

John Carter (W/ Melissa in Chris' Room)

Was actually a great movie. I was noisy and talking to Melissa the first 30 minutes, but it evolved into an enjoyable and entertaining film. The plot twist in the ending is also huge and awesome! Caught me by surprise.

Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children

8/10

Good film overall. Had some awesome music (Uematsu) and had nice references to Final Fantasy 7. Watching this after beating the game definitely made sense. The action was also epic and good. The only downfall is they kinda forced a Sephiroth/Cloud battle, yet it only lasted about 5 minutes.

Movies from April - May

American Reunion - April 6

9.4/10

An amazing throwback to the legendary series, and an incredibly funny movie overall. I f'ing loved this film, and so did Chris and Melissa. The humor was hilarious typical American Pie, and the story was memorable and touching. Excellent movie overall. I watched it in theaters with Melissa and Chris.

The Departed - April 9

8.9/10

An amazing movie overall with a long and moving story. The action is non-stop, and the tension is awesome. I really felt intrigued about the story throughout the entire film. Truly, a great film indeed. I can understsand why it is so acclaimed. Watched it in Chris' room with him and Melissa.

The Big Hit - April 7

8.2/10

A classic! I really love this film. Its very entertaining and awesome. The action and story are both interesting and entertaining. Mark Whalbergs relationship with that asian girl is also a great one. It really makes you touched. Watched it alone in my room.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding - April 5

9.0/10

A legendary film. Still holds today, as one of the greatest romantic comedies of all time. An incredibly touching and hilarious film, that anyone of all ages can enjoy. Amazing film. I watched it with Melissa in my room.

Waiting 2 - April 12

8.8/10

A great sequel to an incredibly unique and entertaining movie. The characters weren't as memorable this time around (Ryan Reynolds was missed), but they were still above average in terms of movies and the movie was still hilarious and really entertaining + memorable. Plus, that short haird girl is sexy!!!! Tania Raymonde. I watched it alone in my room.

The Prestige - April 2

9.3/10

Christopher Nolan.... What else can I say about you. You make incredible films, and this one is no exception. Truthfully, one of the best films I have ever seen. The story, characters, music, etc. are all up to standards to other movies in his repituar, and does not disappoint! What a fantastic film! I watched it with Melissa and Chris in his room.

5 Year Engagement - May 4

9.1 / 10

What a surprisingly great film!!! I really enjoyed this one! I didn't know what to expect coming in, but I didn't hear great things. Boy was I wrong. It was insanely hilarious (Chewbackas Shlong lol) and the love story was indeed memorable and f'ing great, Give it a shot! I was kinda tired of Jason Seagull, but he definitely revived himself in the Romantic Comedy Genre. Plus, the girl is insanely cute. I love her eyes and her smile. I watched it in theaters with Melissa, Chris and Amy.

Hangover - ON TV, May 5

8.1/10

I watched it on TV, part of my Saturday night movie night. It is a great film, just overrated a bit. This is probably my third time watching it. I watched it alone in my room.

Rebound - ON TV, May 5

7.1/10

This movie overall is kinda lame. I mean, the characters are terrible and the dialogue is laughable. But I do love my sports movies, and this one is definitely passable. I watched it alone in my room.

Paul Blart - ON TV, May 12

8.8/10

Finally I watched this!!! Surprisingly, I watched it on TV part of my saturday night movie night. Damn, what a surprisingly good movie!!! I thought it would be kinda lame since the overall plot is simple and Kevin James isn't one of my favs, but it was both hilarious and memorable. A great story is told, full of entertainment and touching stuff. Highly recommend this one! I watched it alone in my room.

Fast & Furious - ON TV, May 5

8.7/10

Watched part of it on TV, part of my saturday night movie night. I previously watched it in theaters with my friends 3 years ago. It's a fantastic film that actually has a great story. Its not just about cars this time around. Plus the girl is sooooooo sexy!!! The one on the right. She looks like Felicia. I watched it alone in my room.

Pitch Black - May 11

8.8/10

I came into this film knowing nothing about it. I didn't know what to expect. Boy was I surprised! I should do that more often. This movie has an excellent plot!!! Incredible character development, and seeing Vin Diesel started his badass-ery!!! He is the biggest badass ever in this film. This Sci-Fi Action movie is awesome. I watched it with Chris in his room.

The Chronicles of Riddick - May 21

7.8/10

Good film. Not as good as its prequel, but still a good action film. Vin Diesel is simply a badass plain and simple. It had an interesting plot and definitely takes a different direction than "Pitch Black". Too bad I mssed 30 minutes of it while asleep on Chris' bed lol. I watched it with Chris and Melissa in Chris' room.
